Finally got the 6 under the garage to remove the passenger seat, in preperation for the seatbelt fitting. Only four bolts (all AF fittings) to remove and it popped right out.
Took the time to try and switch the rear bulbs to some LED ones in an attempt to make myself more visible. they didn't really work though - so popped the old ones back in. Gave the car a whizz and discovered that when I go left my indicators goes ticktock ticktock ticktock as you'd expect, but when I go right they go .. TICK and stay on.

OPPS (pt2)
hmmm a little bitter sweet here !
Took the '6' out to Mr Triumph yesterday to get the once over and discovered a new rule of calssic ownership - All specialists live on farms, at the end of muddy tracks.
The good news is that there is nothing nasty about the car so unlike prev experiences i'm not having to fork out the cheque book straight away. However the car went from being Blue, to getting home Brown - or more accurately 'ill cow brown'.
Gave it a good clean this morning before work (7.30am with the hose out ! ) and got it back to colour. But in doing so managed to get something wet that should'nt have been as the car wouldn't then start.
Left the bonnet open for a few hours ... dried it all out and it started first time .. phew !

OOPS !!!
Had the first ooops moment ! Whilst trying to re adjust the bullet wing mirror. It's not adjustable and so managed to unscrew it's inside thread. resulting in the mirror separating from the body.
Hopefully we can fix it. But it's not a great feeling when it comes off in yer hand !

We've got one !
After spending far too long wanting and talking about owning a GT6, we finally took the decision to buy one.
Not as easy as popping to the car shop though - as they are not the most common car to buy.
We had already settled on a Mk2, in my opinion the best looking of the three marks, and with safer mechanicals than a MK1.
The problem being was that the MK2 seems to be the rarest to find.. So after spending a small fortune on classic car mags, a Mk2 came up on Ebay ! Not only that but it was only just outside of Bath - so was pretty near.
Quick call and we'd arranged to go have a look, and one week later we parted with the cash and we were able to drive 333H home :)
We've decided to try and run a blog about 333H's exploits and rebirth as we attempt to restore her.
But first things first ..... an afternoon drive to take some pictures.
